Job description

As a Physiotherapist at our St. Bartholomews Hospital, you'll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you're committed to developing as a practitioner. You're a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.

Main duties of the job

As a Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Work across Inpatients and Outpatients and a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative cases
  • Be part of our multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical LeadHelp our patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing
  • Deliver excellent clinical care that's safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive to patients' needs
  • Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes
  • Enjoy protected CPD time and access to programmes and events by the Nuffield Health Academy
About us

We've opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, genecology and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms. Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
