Qualifications

THE ROLE

As a Physiotherapist at Physio Motive, you’ll be at the heart of the clinic, helping patients feel stronger, move better, and live pain-free. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough tailored assessments of musculoskeletal conditions across diverse patient demographics.
• Creating individualised treatment plans and delivering manual therapy, tailored exercise prescription, and structured rehabilitation, using all available facilities.
• Utilising shockwave therapy as part of treatment plans.
• Referring patients to the clinic’s advanced technology, including diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections, to ensure the best outcomes.
• Monitoring progress, adjusting treatments as needed, and celebrating milestones with patients.
• Educating patients on injury prevention, self-management, and long-term health goals.
• Maximising patient retention and driving referrals into your diary.
• Working with the team to ensure seamless patient care, including liaison with GPs, consultants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Contributing to clinic growth by maintaining excellent patient relationships and promoting a positive environment.
• Being proactive in promoting yourself and Physio Motive through social media, networking, or involvement in local community and sporting events.

A Typical Day at Physio Motive (not limited to):

8:30am – 9:00am: Coffee, diary open, clinic prepped. 9:00am – 11:00am: Four patient slots (30 mins each) with a mix of hands-on physio, acupuncture, or shockwave therapy. 11:00am – 11:30am: Admin slot. 11:30am – 12:30pm: Two patient slots. 12:30pm – 1:00pm: Admin slot. 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Lunch. 2:00pm – 3:30pm: Three patient slots. 3:30pm – 4:30pm: Project time. 4:30pm – 5:30pm: Mentoring with the lead physio. By 5:30pm, finish for the day with patient care delivered and notes complete.

Qualifications / Registrations

• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
• MSc Pre-reg Physiotherapy
• HCPC Registered
• CSP Member
• Enhanced DBS checked

Clinical Experience

• Ideally 2+ years post-qualification with a strong MSK interest
• Experience in private practice (desirable)
• Background in sporting injuries
• Broad core rotational experience (MSK, orthopaedics, neurology, elderly care, falls prevention)
• Confident hands-on skills

Desirable Skills

• Acupuncture / dry needling qualification
• Sports massage qualification
• Experience with diagnostic ultrasound, guided injections, or shockwave therapy
