Physiotherapist – DMA Rehability

Permanent Full-Time and/or Part-time
Available work Locations: London and Windsor

DMARehability is currently looking for a Physiotherapist(s) to join their multidisciplinary team in London and/or Windsor.

DMARehability is a leader in the provision of community-based medical, vocational, and occupational services. Established in 1993, DMARehability has grown to be one of the largest interprofessional services leading Occupational Therapy services across Western Ontario. We provide both individual and program-based treatment and assessment to auto insurance carriers, life insurance companies, the legal community, and government agencies.

In 2024, DMARehability partnered with Lifemark Health Group, leading to further expansion of services offered to clients, including veterans and Canadian Forces members, first responders, and other individuals facing physical and mental health barriers to their daily life.

DMARehability, in partnership with Lifemark Health Group, provides the flexibility to manage your own work schedule and caseload, along with full administrative, clinical, and IT support. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to expand their skill set through our mentoring program and additionally have the opportunity to work as part of our Catastrophic Assessment Division, working directly with our physicians and clinicians in a collaborative assessment model.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assess and treat patients both in clinic and in their homes/community
  2. Analyze capabilities and expectations related to life activities through observation, interviews, and formal assessments
  3. Assess and document patient injuries using a variety of tools
  4. Design and implement appropriate treatment programs using a range of assessments and modalities to continually enhance capabilities
  5. Design treatment plans using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise

What you need to succeed:

  1. Be a registered member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  2. Have experience in manual therapy
  3. Experience working with TBI and/or SCI patients is an asset
  4. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Physiotherapist
  5. Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management, computer, and documentation skills
  6. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  7. Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel
