Job description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team in Crewe. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of physical conditions and injuries. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver individualized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their overall physical health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical conditions through clinical evaluation, including medical history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and functional abilities
  • Deliver hands-on physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other interventions to promote healing and improve function
  • Educate patients on exercise techniques, posture correction, pain management, and lifestyle modifications to aid in their recovery
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, occupational therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Provide rehabilitation services for patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness to restore physical function and quality of life
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with healthcare regulations and confidentiality requirements
  • Promote health and wellness through preventive care programs and community outreach initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with current physiotherapy techniques, best practices, and medical advancements by engaging in continuous professional development
  • Advise patients on self-management techniques, including home exercises and adaptive equipment
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and discussions to contribute to the overall care of patients


Requirements

Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification) from an accredited institution.

Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Previous experience as a Physiotherapist in a clinical setting (1+ years preferred).

Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of relevant physiotherapy techniques, evidence-based practices, and treatment modalities.

Ability to develop personalized care plans and make adjustments based on patient progress.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
