Your Role

As a Physiotherapist, you will work in a Residential School that provides both educational and residential support to children with a range of neurological and medical needs. Your role will involve helping students reach their physical development goals through tailored therapy and support.

Duties

  • Deliver group and individual therapy sessions
  • Work closely with other professionals to plan and prepare effective programmes
  • Collaborate with the team to meet pupils' diverse needs and support their development
  • Play a key role in implementing strategies to promote function and independence
  • Enable students to access the curriculum fully
  • Assess and implement appropriate seating solutions
  • Plan access routes to technology, such as switching devices
  • Write reports and participate in reviews and relevant meetings
  • Liaise with parents/guardians and medical professionals as required
  • Provide high standards of physical and emotional care
  • Maintain the school environment to high standards of safety, hygiene, and presentation
  • Share your knowledge with the team and participate in ongoing staff development

Criteria

  • A professional qualification in Physiotherapy – Essential
  • Experience working with children/paediatrics – Essential
