Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Bradford. This permanent full-time role offers a hybrid working model with home and assessment-centre days.

You will assess PIP functional cases, analyse clinical information and write detailed reports, collaborating with clinical teams. Requires NMC/HCPC registration and at least 1 year of UK clinical experience. Structured pay progression and bonus potential accompany the role.

Salary: £39,500 - £41,000 per annum + OTE up to £47,150

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Are you an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist ready for a change from frontline clinical work, but keen to continue using your expertise?

As a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor at Medacs Healthcare, you'll complete Personal Independence Payment (PIP) functional assessments to understand how health conditions affect everyday life. This is a non‑hands‑on clinical role centred on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing.

The hybrid working model combines home working with time at one of our assessment centres, offering predictable hours, long‑term stability and a healthier work-life balance.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

Essential:

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions

• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)

• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

Desirable

• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles

• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
