A-Level Physics Tutor

  • Position: A-Level Physics Tutor - Sixth Form College
  • Location: North London
  • Contract Type: Fixed-term for the academic year 2025-26
  • Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a passionate and academically strong Physics graduate to join an outstanding Sixth-Form College as an A-Level Physics Tutor. This role is ideal for someone considering a career in education and eager to positively influence ambitious young pupils.

About the Role

You will support high-achieving sixth form students through one-to-one tutoring, small group sessions, and classroom assistance. Your goal will be to enhance their understanding of Physics, prepare them for university entrance exams (including Oxbridge), and boost their confidence in their academic skills.

You will also contribute to broader academic development by offering guidance on study skills, time management, and revision strategies. A tailored training and mentoring program will be provided, including opportunities to observe and lead teaching sessions. In your second year, there may be a pathway to gain a formal teaching qualification.
