Quantum Scholars are currently working with a thriving secondary school in Surrey who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join their science department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will be UK trained, have significant experience teaching Physics up to A-Level and have a right to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic and engaging Physics lessons to KS3 and KS4 students (KS5 desirable but not essential).

  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and department planning.

  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and CPD opportunities.



Requirements:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.

  • A degree in Physics or a related subject.

  • A genuine passion for science and the ability to inspire young minds.

  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive teaching.

  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting is highly desirable.

  • You must have the right to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
