The successful Physics Teacher will teach Science at Key Stage 3 and Physics at Key Stage 4. You will be responsible for delivering well-planned lessons covering areas such as forces, energy, electricity, waves, radioactivity and space, depending on the curriculum sequence.

The school is looking for someone who can make complex scientific concepts understandable without losing the academic challenge required at GCSE level. You will use demonstrations, experiments, modelling and problem-solving activities to help students develop a deeper understanding of Physics.

Assessment will form an important part of the role, with the successful candidate expected to identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted support where necessary. You will also work closely with colleagues within the Science Department on curriculum development and student progress.
