PHYSICS TEACHER

A thriving secondary school in Lambeth seeks a dedicated and inspiring Physics Teacher to join their successful Science department. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to contribute to a supportive learning environment and foster a love of Physics in students. The successful candidate will be a passionate Physics Teacher.

Responsibilities:The Physics Teacher will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and ideally, Key Stage 5 (A-Level Physics).
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom/laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science department.
  • Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians.
  • Adhere to all school safeguarding policies.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Experienced: Proven ability to teach Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
  • Passionate: Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for Physics and student success.
