Job description

Physics Teacher - September 2025

Are you a passionate Physics teacher, either experienced or in the early stages of your teaching career? Do you have the desire to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and thinkers? If so, we want you!

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a qualified Physics Teacher to work at an excellent secondary school in the East Kent area from September 2025! The role is full time with a salary of between 31,650 and 49,084 depending on experience.

The role:

  • Develop and deliver insightful Physics lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Ensure the lesson plans meet the needs of all learners across both key stages
  • Attend departmental planning and curriculum development meetings
  • Support and mentor students to ensure all learning outcomes are achieved

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physics or related field
  • Proven experience of teaching Physics across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
