Overview

Are you a consistent and dedicated Physics teacher, looking for your next exciting role? A large secondary school in London is looking for a Physics teacher to start ASAP. The role may be ongoing until the end of the academic year.

The school is based in London in the Borough of Tower Hamlets, with good public transport access.

If you have the ability to raise standards and attainment through consistently good teaching, and you place emphasis on accurate marking and high-quality written feedback, clearly identifying where students have done well and where they need to improve, this school and position may be for you.

Responsibilities

• To teach Physics to students of all abilities in years 7–11.
• To ensure all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives and to differentiate work accordingly.
• To engage students by monitoring and assessing progress at all times.
• To work closely with the science department and share ideas and feedback.
• To attend parents evenings and meetings.

Requirements

• Must be QTS (NQT applicants welcome).
• Be able to provide a clear DBS.
• Provide two outstanding references.
• Hold a relevant degree in Science.
