Job Description

A high-achieving Outstanding Boys' school in Brent is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for Physics and the ability to inspire and challenge boys across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the school's academic excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students' understanding of physics concepts and their applications.
  • Prepare students for GCSE Physics examinations (Separate Sciences or Combined Science).
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and resources within the Science department.
  • Encourage student interest in Physics through practical demonstrations and activities.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Physics specialism.
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics.
