This school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join a thriving Science department. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to ignite curiosity and deepen understanding in students across Key Stage 3 and 4—and Key Stage 5, if applicable. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Physics Teacher:

1. Teach engaging and challenging Physics lessons tailored to students of all abilities

2. Promote analytical thinking and scientific enquiry through practical and theoretical work

3. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities such as STEM clubs or science fairs

4. Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including GCSE and A-Level Physics

5. Collaborate with colleagues to raise achievement and foster a love for science

Ideal Physics Teacher:

1. A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong subject specialism in Physics or a closely related field

2. Passionate about inspiring young people and making Physics accessible and exciting

3. Excellent classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement

4. Confident using data to track and support student progress as a Physics Teacher

5. Committed to continued professional development and collaborative teaching
