Job description

A secondary school in Ilkley is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics to join their team immediately on a full-time basis to cover a long-term absence. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students in the world of science, with a particular focus on Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons, with a focus on Physics, to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Create engaging, hands-on lessons that develop students’ curiosity and analytical skills.
• Prepare students for GCSE assessments, ensuring they have a strong grasp of key concepts and practical applications.
• Work closely with colleagues in the Science department to maintain a dynamic and well-structured curriculum.
• Support students of all abilities, providing differentiated learning strategies to help them succeed.
