Prospero Teaching is looking for a Physics teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding, mixed and diverse secondary school in the heart of Edgware. The school is easily accessible from South London, being 5 minutes away from the M1 and a 10-minute walk from Colindale station, which has direct routes to Morden.

This Physics teaching position starts in September 2025 and is a full-time role. The school is well equipped with multiple modern science labs. You need to be able to teach all key stages, including GCSE and A Level.

THE PHYSICS POSITION:

• Full-time Physics teaching position
• Ideally starting September 2025
• Teach all key stages including GCSE and A Level
• This is a mainstream, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school
• The Science department is well resourced
• Full-time (5 days a week)
• Parking available on site; well served by public transport

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL PHYSICS TEACHER:

• Qualified Physics or Science teacher – UK or overseas
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) or equivalent
• Ability to manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons accordingly
• Proactive, innovative, and able to engage students in various ways
• Team player

CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Contract type – temporary with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks
• Duration – September 2025 – 2026
• Minimum pay – Outer Pay Scale
