Job description

Summary:

  4. Location: York, PA.
  5. Start Date: ASAP.
  6. Duration: 13 weeks.
  7. Schedule: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, 08:00 AM-04:30 PM.
  8. Rate: Travel: $1,383/35-hours; Local: $1,362/35-hours.

Requirements:

  1. Valid and active Physical Therapy Assistant State license.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating patients, gathering medical history, and assessing goals.
  2. Carry out prescribed interventions and exercises to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and flexibility.
  3. Administer modalities and use therapeutic equipment for patient rehabilitation.
  4. Instruct patients in exercise programs and techniques to improve physical function and well-being.
  5. Educate patients and families on exercise and home programs for recovery.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments and progress.
  7. Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and healthcare team to coordinate care and discuss treatment plans.
  8. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic therapy environment.
  9. Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients as they work toward their physical therapy goals.
  10. Other duties assigned by Management.
