Job summary

Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated physical therapy assistant to work under a licensed PT in a school setting, helping students recover mobility and achieve functional goals.

You will monitor progress, educate families on rehab techniques, and maintain progress notes; prior school-based experience is a plus, with a 1099 contract position and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Experience with geriatric populations is preferred, particularly in skilled nursing facilities or acute care settings.
• Familiarity with physical therapy practices.
• Strong understanding of anatomy to assist in developing appropriate treatment strategies.

In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help students recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance their overall physical function. You will play a vital role in providing quality care and addressing students’ mobility goals in a school setting.

This job goes until Jan. with pwith the potentialtential to extend 1 -2 months.

You must have a valid MA physical therapy assistant license.

Experience:
