Unify Health Services, a women-owned business, is seeking an Industrial Specialist to join our team in East York. This full-time position involves providing onsite coaching services to the industrial athletic population. The work schedule is 10:30a-9a, Monday-Thursday. These are 3rd shift hours.

Qualifications:

  • Active licensure in the state of employment
  • BLS and CPR certifications
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with industrial athletes and support their prevention needs
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders, including industrial athletes, the prevention team, client's management team, and client's HSS team
  • Experience in outpatient clinical skills, first responder skills, and musculoskeletal education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferably 2+ years of experience, including work comp or industrial healthcare experience
  • Knowledge of workplace safety, health, and OSHA regulations is advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite coaching services to the industrial athletic population
  • Teach body mechanics, work simulation tasks, and educate individuals on available services
  • Utilize preventative, instructional, and educational approaches in an industrial setting
  • Adapt teaching methods to various learning styles, ages, and education levels

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent: walking, sitting, repetitive arm and leg movements, stooping, forward bending, handling, keyboard/computer work
  • Occasional: pinching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to briskly walk in the field/location for emergencies or job coaching observations

Other Duties:

  • Shifts may vary based on customer and program needs, including early mornings, day shifts, night shifts, or weekends
  • Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on business requirements
