We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for Spaulding Hospital on a per diem basis. The role involves providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The assistant will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and coordinate resources effectively.
Education/Degree: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Experience: Minimum 2 years for Advanced Clinician role.
Licensure: Licensed and in good standing as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts. BLS certification required.
Skills: Effective communication in English, basic math and computer skills, knowledge of physical therapy techniques, problem-solving abilities, teaching and self-assessment skills, safety awareness, cultural competence, computer proficiency (Microsoft Office preferred), and flexibility to work varied schedules.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proactive in addressing challenges, attentive to detail, and committed to high service standards.
