Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist, following the patient's Plan of Treatment
• Consult regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and concerns
• Assist with equipment cleaning, maintenance, and department area upkeep
• Report equipment issues to ensure proper functioning
• Communicate patient needs and progress, and assist in securing adaptive equipment to enhance rehabilitation
• Maintain and submit accurate patient treatment and billing documentation in compliance with regulations
• Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, policies, and applicable laws
• Participate in staff development programs and continuing education to maintain clinical skills

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state
• Basic Life Support or CPR certification per state requirements
• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
