Shift/hours: Full-Time

PT Duties Include:

  • Work as part of the Therapy Team
  • Measure and record Residents' function, gait, strength, ROM, balance, and mobility
  • Observe Residents and write evaluations, progress reports, discharges, and all necessary documentation
  • Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises
  • Treat Residents with techniques like soft-tissue mobilization and exercise progression
  • Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices
  • Educate Residents on proper exercise techniques to strengthen muscles and improve function
  • Maintain Residents’ confidence by keeping information confidential
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
  • Contribute to the team’s efforts and goals

PT Requirements Include:

  • A graduate of an accredited PT Program
  • Current NJ State PT License
  • Experience in long-term-care settings preferred
