Job description

Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. Provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by team members.

Education

Certification/Licensure

  • Physical Therapy License (Required)

Experience

  • Perform modalities/therapeutic interventions according to accepted standards of care and department policies.
  • Provide effective instruction to patients and families through standardized or individualized training.
  • Develop collaborative interactions with team members, patients, and families to improve outcomes.
  • Select and perform appropriate assessment procedures.
  • Establish and update formal care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Participate in professional activities to promote clinical specialty and organizational mission.
  • Maintain productivity and efficiency in daily operations.
