Job summary

Carbon 60, Inc. is seeking a Scientist I - Physical Testing to support the development of medical devices in a fully on-site role in Deeside. The position focuses on conducting physical tests, data generation and analysis to GMP/GLP/GDP standards, and collaboration with R&D and quality teams.

The successful candidate will design and execute tests, document results, apply statistical analysis, and help develop new test methods aligned with industry standards. 1–2 years in a lab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline (e.g., biological sciences).
• 1–2 years' laboratory experience, preferably in Medical Devices/Pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of GMP/GLP/GDP and ISO13485:2016 and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute Physical Testing in support of R&D and base business projects.
• Develop and validate new Physical Testing methods.
• Estimate resources and time for experiments and monitor performance.
• Document validation protocols, reports and technical documents for medical devices/pharmaceutical products.
• Independently analyse data with statistical methods and present findings.
