Job description

An enthusiastic and qualified Physical Education Teacher is required to join an Outstanding boys school in Brent for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116) to develop a lifelong commitment to physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physical Education Teacher lessons covering a range of sports and physical activities to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students physical skills teamwork and understanding of the benefits of exercise.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of physical activity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Physical Education providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Physical Education Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A strong knowledge of various sports and physical activities as well as the principles of fitness and health.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills capable of inspiring students to lead active lives.
