Job description

Essential Functions: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Physical Education Teacher at Roosevelt Early Learning Center. Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services within our school, assisting students in developing skills, attitudes, and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience. This position commences with the 2025-26 School Year.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have the ability to work as a team in planning and teaching, with an emphasis on differentiating instruction and using assessments effectively. Must use the Responsive Classroom approach consistently by conducting regular class meetings, supportive exchanges, and setting clear expectations. Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents. Support and follow School Board policies and procedures. Be a positive and contributing member of our professional community.

Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin Cities. The district currently serves approximately 3,700 students in Faribault and surrounding areas within a community of 23,000 citizens. District sites include one early learning center with Kindergarten, two elementary schools (grades 1-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), one high school (grades 9-12), one area learning center (grades 9-12), and one education center for adult education.

Daily Pay Range: $259.04 – $485.53 depending on experience.
