Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Physical Education Teacher for a secondary school in East Riding of Yorkshire, starting October 2026. The role covers KS3/KS4 with a focus on delivering engaging PE lessons and supporting student progress.

The post is full-time, permanent with initial supply through Vision for Education and a potential long-term opportunity. QTS is required and ECTs are welcome.

Qualifications

Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent
Start Date: October 2026

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a successful and well-regarded secondary school in the East Riding to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join their team in teaching Boys PE from October 2026.

This is a temporary fixed term role for a motivated teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging PE lessons and inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The successful candidate will initially work through Vision for Education on a supply basis, although there is a possibility .

The Role

The school is seeking a committed Physical Education Teacher who can:

To be considered for the position of Physical Education Teacher, you will:

• Possess strong classroom management skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Be passionate about improving outcomes for young people
