Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join a high-performing secondary academy in Epping. The role covers KS3–KS5, delivering high-quality practical and theoretical PE and inspiring students to enjoy sport and physical activity.

You will foster participation in extracurricular activities, support GCSE and A-Level PE, and contribute to enrichment, assessment and safeguarding in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Role

Deliver engaging PE lessons: Plan and teach high-quality practical and theoretical PE lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Promote participation: Encourage students of all abilities to take part in sport, fitness and extracurricular activities.

Support examination groups: Contribute to GCSE and A-Level PE teaching, assessment and revision programmes.

Develop sporting talent: Help identify and nurture students with particular strengths in individual and team sports.

Contribute to enrichment: Support fixtures, clubs, competitions and wider school sporting events.

Maintain high standards: Promote positive behaviour, safe practice and excellent participation across all lessons.
