BT Group is seeking a Physical Security Advisor to operate across Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Gloucestershire, Somerset and South Wales, with regular travel and a full UK driving licence. You will support the physical security uplift programme and protect BT sites, people and services.

Responsibilities include site surveys, design reviews, advising on security standards, and collaborating with Security Operations Centre, Physical Identity & Access Management, and BT Property

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of physical security principles and risk assessment.
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive and willingness to travel regularly in Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Gloucestershire, Somerset and South Wales. A business use vehicle will be provided.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work in a team to deliver outcomes.

• Stay up to date with current and emerging security technologies and practices.

About The Role

Act as a trusted Physical Security Advisor across Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Gloucestershire, Somerset and South Wales, with the flexibility to support other areas when required. The role supports the physical security uplift programme and helps protect BT’s sites, people and services from threats that could affect business operations or customer service.

• Carry out physical security assessments across sites
• Provide clear advice and guidance on security standards and specifications
• Support delivery of physical security programmes
• Help ensure compliance with security policies and requirements

This role requires a full UK drivers licence & includes regular travel across Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Gloucestershire, Somerset and South Wales.
