The Role
We are looking for a PHP Software Engineer to join Citizen Ticket. The role involves supporting and developing key products such as Eventree and Box Office, analyzing requirements, conducting code reviews, providing technical leadership, fixing bugs, writing documentation, demonstrating features, and testing.
The Person
Ideal candidates are excellent communicators with professional conduct, motivated, seeking a career in software engineering, and preferably experienced in event management or ticketing systems.
Minimum skills include:
Beneficial but not essential skills include experience with CentOS, command line, advanced SQL, provisioning tools like Ansible, APIs, payment gateways, RabbitMQ, and Docker.
The Package
Salary: £40,000 (reviewed annually)
Benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Christmas holiday, additional holiday through targets, pension scheme, and share options.
The recruitment process involves a 30-minute phone call and an hour-long technical video interview.
The team works remotely. Offices are in Edinburgh and London, with flexible options for working in-office or remotely.
