Job summary

Pearson Carter is working with an award-winning global travel organisation, seeking a PHP Developer for a hybrid role in Colchester. You will develop PHP code using Symfony, design and implement APIs and microservices, and leverage AWS to improve performance and scalability.

The role requires extensive PHP and Symfony experience, API development skills, and strong exposure to AWS. The successful candidate will join a dynamic travel-tech team in a hybrid setup.

Pearson Carter are currently working with an award-winning global travel organisation who specialise in providing ocean, river, luxury, and tailor-made cruise holidays. They are looking to expand their team with a strong PHP Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop PHP code using Symfony
• Design and implement APIs and microservices
• Optimise performance and scalability using AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS)

Experience:

• Extensive experience using PHP and Symfony
• API development experience

• Strong exposure to AWS covering services such as EC2, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS
• Linux and NGINX experience would be ideal

Salary

They offer an excellent salary of up to £60,000, plus a strong benefits package including a bonus scheme.
