Job Opportunity: PHP Back End Developer

A great opportunity awaits to join our talented Digital Team as a PHP Back End Developer. You will play a proactive role in building websites and apps for a diverse range of well-known brands.

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for project delivery and collaborate closely with the digital team.
• Share your IT/digital skills to contribute to team success.

About You:

• Enthusiastic, focused, and passionate about coding, with a love for writing great code.
• At least 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer with solid technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.

Essential and Desirable Skills:

• Proven experience in back-end web development.
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites.
• Knowledge of current coding techniques, best practices, and version control (SVN).
• Understanding of UX/UI design, app development for iOS and Android, SEO, and split testing.
• Good understanding of .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco.
• Computer science qualification (degree or equivalent).
• Comfortable with client meetings and working under tight deadlines.

What We Offer:

• Salary: £30-35k gross per annum

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. You should live within an easily commutable distance to the office.
