Job Opportunity: PHP Back End Developer

A great opportunity awaits as a PHP Back End Developer, where you will play a proactive role within our talented Digital Team, helping to build great websites and apps for a diverse range of well-known brands.

You will be responsible for projects and will collaborate closely with the digital team, sharing your IT/digital skills.

About You

You’re eager to join an ambitious, busy agency and share your experience across various projects. You will be enthusiastic, focused, passionate about your craft, and willing to embrace new emerging technologies. Basically, you love writing great code!

You will possess solid technical knowledge, including modern programming skills, and have at least 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer.

High communication skills and keen attention to detail are essential.

Essential and Desirable Requirements

• Proven experience in all technical aspects of back-end web development
• Highly proficient in PHP and MySQL
• Experience building responsive websites with a mobile-first approach
• Experience collaborating with front-end web developers
• In-depth knowledge of current coding techniques and best practices
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Confidence in client meetings
• Flexible attitude and experience working in a team
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Computer science qualification (degree or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Experience with app development for iOS and Android

• Experience with SVN and version control management
