An opportunity has arisen for a fixed-term (12 months) phototherapy technician with an interest in phototherapy to work in Dermatology at Leighton Hospital.
This role is ideal if you have an interest in this field and wish to develop your skills. You will be supported by the dermatology nursing team to learn and grow professionally.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout their treatment to discharge. Responsibilities include recording treatment plans, cumulative doses, adverse events, and providing written summaries to referring clinicians.
Adherence to departmental protocols and guidelines is essential. You will also undertake regular risk assessments, audits, reviews, and make recommendations to the senior team.
