Creative Scotland est à la recherche d'un photographe/vidéaste créatif pour documenter une série de spectacles au Festival d'Édimbourg. Responsibilities

• Filmer et photographier 8 spectacles pendant le Festival d'Édimbourg.
• Créer un film court de 30 secondes et un photo reel par spectacle.
• Collaborer avec l’équipe de production pour représenter artistiquement les spectacles.

We are looking for a visually creative individual to collaborate with our company team of ten performing artists!

We are looking for a visually creative individual to collaborate with our company team of ten performing artists and photograph and film eight 50-minute shows during Edinburgh Festival Week 3 between Tuesday 19th – Saturday 23rd August:

- ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ - Jazz Sessions by Candlelight
- Burns Night Hootenanny – Tam O’Shanter’s Big Scottish Sing-Along
- Debussy’s Romantic Piano by Candlelight – ‘Clair de Lune’
- AI MOZART: ChatGPT composed this concert!
- Hans Zimmer’s Hollywood 1925 - 2025 – A Centenary Celebration of Film Music
- Einaudi’s Piano by Candlelight – ‘Spirited Away’
- Cirque du piano – 1 piano, 3 pianists, 6 hands, 30 fingers!
- The Four Seasons by Candlelight: 300th Anniversary Edition

You will create a photo reel of 6 – 12 images usable for advertising on websites and social media per show.
You will also create a short film trailer for each (approx. 30 seconds each; four minutes of content in all) for advertising on websites and social media.

We are a recent start-up with a small advertising budget, but we are also open to discussing extending the project, if you have any further creative ideas for collaboration.

We’re open to applications for ambitious young recent graduates but also those with good experiences of photographing and filming live/ stage performance of musicians and/or actors.

Moonlight is a performing arts company that creates immersive classical music experiences, concerts, shows and exhibitions. It celebrates interdisciplinary collaboration with writers and storytellers, visual artists, dancers and filmmakers (and beyond) to push the boundaries of what a classical concert can be and create the 'performance of the future.' Moonlight reimagines what a concert can be.

Contract: Freelance
Fee: £871.20 (24 hours filming and photographing 8 shows; £36.30 per hour)
