Position: Phonics Intervention Assistant

Responsibilities:

Implementing phonics intervention programs tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups.

Assisting students in developing phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and fluency through engaging activities and resources.

Collaborating with classroom teachers and educational specialists to identify students who require additional phonics support.

Monitoring student progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Providing regular feedback to teachers and school administrators regarding student performance and intervention outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).

Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably with a focus on literacy development.

Strong knowledge of phonics instruction principles and best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome learning challenges.
