Job description

Phlebotomist

£20,837.25 per year (OTE of up to £38,000 pa with commission, expenses, and overtime, expenses and benefits included)

We are looking to recruit candidates from various areas around:

  • Aberdeen, Kintore, Leylodge, Elrick (home locations)
  • Travel to areas including Buckie, Cullen, Portsoy, Banff, Crovie, Fochabers, Keith is required.

If you join us, you'll be known internally as a Health Assessment Specialist and will contribute to our mission to make health confidence accessible to all.

The Hours
  • 30 hours per week
  • 3 x 10-hour shifts per week (not including travel time), scheduled on a rota basis, any 3 days between Monday and Sunday.
  • Shifts are between 6am - 10pm, based on allocated patterns.
  • Rota is released 3 weeks in advance and is rolling.
Responsibilities

At Bluecrest, we prioritize quality in everything we do, including our clinic venues. You will work across various venues throughout your region.

Your day begins with planning your route to your assigned venue, which may involve driving from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Upon arrival, you'll unpack, set up your kit, and greet customers. You can expect to see 15 to 22 customers daily, with appointments ranging from 10 to 45 minutes depending on the package and assessments.

You will perform various health assessments based on customer packages, including but not limited to; PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and short fitness tests. You will also advise on further testing if appropriate and maintain relevant records.

Note: You will not be responsible for relaying results or lifestyle advice post-assessment.
