Job Responsibilities

  1. Collect venous and capillary specimens following SOPs and aseptic techniques in various inpatient and outpatient settings.
  2. Perform bedside testing and Laboratory Information System (LIS) functions.
  3. Provide instruction to students and new personnel.
  4. Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned by the Manager.

PRN Status Details

This position requires availability for at least 12 hours bi-weekly, with potential for additional hours based on departmental needs. Work hours may vary.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED required.
  • Preferred: Accredited Phlebotomy Certificate.
  • Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association prior to patient interaction.
