Job summary

The Phlebotomy team at North Manchester General Hospital are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the existing team. This is a fast paced service delivered five days a week with no weekend or Bank Holidays.

Duties include blood sampling for patients across Outpatients areas and for clinics of varying specialties in a busy setting. Applications welcome from diverse backgrounds in line with the trust's equality policy.

Qualifications

• Maths and English Level 2 qualifications.
• Venepuncture certificate.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy duties.
• Practical phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Phlebotomy Service to patients.
• Assess, plan, evaluate and deliver patient care in a caring, compassionate, and sensitive manner.
• Work with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to clinical governance.
