Position

Phlebotomist

£20,837.25 to £27,783 per year (OTE of up to £38,000 to £42,000 with Commission, Overtime, Expenses and Benefits)

We are looking to recruit people from various areas in and around: Woodford, Wood Green, Edmonton, Chingford, Camden Town, Hackney, Stratford, Walthamstow, Enfield, Finsbury Park, Ilford, Tottenham, Buckhurst Hill.

The hours

30 hours per week

• 3 x 10-hour shifts per week, any 3 days between Monday and Sunday on a rolling rota basis (excluding travel time).
• Shifts between 6am - 10pm.
• Rota released 3 weeks in advance.
• Base salary of £20,837.25 per year with an OTE of up to £38,000 including commission, expenses, and overtime.

40 hours per week

• 4 x 10-hour shifts per week, any 4 days between Monday and Sunday on a rolling rota basis (excluding travel time).
• Shifts between 6am - 10pm.
• Rota released 3 weeks in advance.
• Base salary of £27,783 per year with an OTE of up to £42,000 including commission, expenses, and overtime.

Responsibilities

At Bluecrest, we prioritize high-quality service in our clinics and venues across the region. Your day begins with planning your route and traveling to your allocated venue, which may take 30 minutes to 2 hours. Upon arrival, you'll unpack, set up your kit, and greet customers, seeing 15 to 22 customers daily, with appointments lasting from 10 to 45 minutes depending on the package.

You will perform various health assessments such as PAD, ECG, Phlebotomy (once qualified), Lung Function, Body Composition, and fitness tests. You will also advise on further testing when appropriate and maintain all relevant administrative records. Note that you will not relay test results or lifestyle advice post-assessment.

Requirements

• Full UK driving license and access to a car (for transporting kit)
• Availability to work Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
• IT literacy
• Clear DBS (processed on your behalf)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Living within a suitable distance of the role location
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Satisfactory enhanced criminal records check (as part of onboarding)

Nice to have

• Interest in health and wellbeing
• Prior experience in Phlebotomy
• Background or qualifications in Sports Science or similar
• Healthcare background
