Job description

Phlebotomist required for flexible hours work in Brighton

Are you an experienced Phlebotomist (or a Healthcare Assistant or Nurse with phlebotomy skills) with 1+ years of experience in collecting and processing venous blood samples?

You wish to work on a flexible basis? Joining our team will enable you to work around your current schedule and commitments, supplement your income and provide the opportunity to be involved with clinical trials and research within pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech industries.

We are looking for highly skilled, flexible, adaptable individuals to carry out scheduled visits and successfully collect and transport samples, report findings, and provide event notes while referring pertinent information to your supervisor.

As you will be the face of IQVIA (and our client), professional conduct – including but not limited to dress, conversation, privacy, and safety – is always expected. As you will be working outside of the hospital setting and may be required to visit more than one site/patient, you will ideally have your own reliable transport and be comfortable performing a blood draw at the patient's home.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Phlebotomist, Health Care Assistant or Nurse with up-to-date phlebotomy skills
  • Intermediate computer skills required (must be comfortable with basic software programs)
  • Must have own reliable transport and a full UK driving license
  • Based within a reasonable travel distance to the location specified in the job title.

You will receive a generous hourly rate + mileage reimbursed at the prevailing HMRC rate. Parking costs also covered where necessary.
