Job summary

NCIC in Whitehaven is seeking a Phlebotomist Band 2 to work 37.5 hours per week on Ward 3. The role involves collecting blood samples by venipuncture and may require covering other ward areas within the hospital.

Phlebotomist Band 2, 37.5 hours per week - West Cumberland

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed individual to join our friendly and dynamic team on Ward 3. You may also be required to cover other wards in the hospital

Main duties of the job

The candidate would ideally have previous experience in phlebotomy and cannulation.

Primarily to collect blood samples, as requested, from patients by venepuncture. Ensure patient and personal safety through adherence to Trust procedures, protocols and relevant health and safety legislation at all times.
