Job description

Pulse Nursing Agency is looking for experienced Phlebotomists and HCAs with Phlebotomy experience for shifts in Northallerton on Sunday from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm. We offer competitive hourly pay rates.

As a Phlebotomist/HCA, your responsibilities will include:

• Completing POCT cholesterol checks, measuring height, weight, waist, heart rate, and blood pressure, and recording data on the system.
• Drawing two blood samples, labeling, and storing them correctly.
• Monitoring the welfare of participants during appointments and escalating concerns as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• At least one year of active experience drawing blood.
• Experience in taking patient observations.
• Excellent patient care skills.
• Immediate right to work in the UK.
• Note: We cannot support applications from candidates resident within the Red or Amber list of the WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
