NHS Jobs in Reading is seeking a healthcare assistant to support clinical duties including ECG, phlebotomy, injections under PSDs signed by GPs, influenza vaccinations, and BP monitoring. The role involves stock control and maintaining clean clinical areas.

You will be responsible for restocking, ordering supplies, and using EMIS/Ardens templates. Training will be provided for EMIS/Ardens usage and clinical workflows.

• ECG procedures and phlebotomy duties performed under supervision
• Administer B12 injections under PSDs signed by GPs
• Administer annual influenza vaccinations/pneumonia under PSD
• BP monitoring
• Restocking of all clinical areas and maintaining stocks and keeping areas clean
• Maintain and order clinical supplies
• Use EMIS/Ardens templates for all procedures; training will be provided
• Any other duties that are deemed appropriate

Main duties of the job The main duties of the job are:

• ECG
• Phlebotomy

• Re-stocking of all clinical areas and maintaining stocks and keeping all areas clean.
• To maintain and order clinical supplies.
• Using appropriate templates in EMIS/Ardens for all procedures, training will be given in this area.
• Any other duties that are deemed appropriate.
