To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of phlebotomy and administrative duties. To provide general support to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures. Duties can include but are not limited to, acting as a central point of contact for patients as well as distributing information / messages and enquires for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers, processing both electronic and paper copy patient records, dealing with appointment system, and patients' blood pressure, pulse rate, height and weight.
This job will require working across the following NPC practices; Morpeth, Pegswood, Lynemouth and Newbiggin
Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC) is a pioneering partnership with local GPs and now manages several GP practices with around 120,000 registered patients in Northumberland and North Tyneside.
Whilst appointees will have a base practice within NPC,they may be asked to work at other practices across our group. We do however limit this as much as possible as we appreciate continuity is vital to effective primary care.
