Aneurin Bevan University Health Board supports flexible working.

There is a temporary top-up for Bands 2 and 3 to reflect the incorporation of the top-up to the living wage of £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum). This top-up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2025/26 is confirmed.

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity to join our growing Phlebotomy team at GUH/NHH/RGH. We have two permanent part-time vacancies:

  • 1 x 25-hour post
  • 1 x 22.5-hour post

You will be based at GUH but may be required to rotate to NHH/RGH when needed.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Phlebotomist to join our team providing high-quality Phlebotomy services as part of Blood Sciences.

You should ideally come from a healthcare background with excellent communication skills and good literacy and numeracy skills. A caring and sensitive nature towards the public is essential. You will work as part of the Phlebotomy team, taking blood samples from patients within ABUHB.

The service operates 7 days a week, including bank holidays.
