Due to the expansion of our busy service we are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills to join our Phlebotomy Service. You will work within a dedicated team who provide front line care to hospital inpatients, outpatients & GP patients.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to working as the Phlebotomy service is provided 7 days a week operated on a rota basis. You must be willing to work weekends and bank holidays.Excellent communication and organisational skills are integral to the post. Being proficient in venepuncture is integral in this role , If you have what it takes to deliver and you want to make a difference then please contact us below.
You will be able to work well within a team, be able to use your initiative and be willing to acquire new skills and knowledge. Attention to detail will be a key characteristic. You will be able to work in a busy environment and have a strongly held commitment to high standards of service delivery.
Experience of dealing with patients and staff in the hospital environment or Blood Test Clinics will be of benefit.
