We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Phlebotomistto join our clinical team. You will play a key role in supporting our patients and clinicians by providing high-quality venepuncture services, working across both of our sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys patient interaction and values being part of a close-knit, high-performing team.
Working under the directsupervision of the Nursing team and strictly in accordance with specificPractice guidelines and protocols, you will be responsible for performingvenipuncture to obtain blood samples from patients, and ensuring all samples are dispatched to the labortory in a timely fashion.

KeyResponsibilities But Not Limited To:
Undertakevenepuncture for a wide range of routine and urgent blood tests, ensuring safeand hygienic technique
Label,package, and send samples to the laboratory in accordance with currentprotocols
Ensurepatient identification checks and consent are carried out in line with policy
Maintainaccurate documentation and update electronic patient records on EMIS
Manageappointments and prioritise urgent samples as directed by clinical staff
Observeand report any unusual symptoms or reactions during or after procedures
Ensureall equipment is clean, well-stocked, and maintained according to infectioncontrol standards
Providereassurance and support to patients who are nervous or anxious about bloodtests
Adhereto health and safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding protocols at all times
Participatein practice meetings, audits, and mandatory training as required
