Job summary

hireful is seeking an experienced fundraising leader for a pivotal, hybrid role based at the Oxford HQ with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. The charity has supported farming communities across the UK for over 160 years and now wants to strengthen major donor, trust, and corporate funding.

You will lead the Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy, cultivate major donors, manage teams and budgets, and ensure GDPR/CIOF compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a senior fundraising role securing major funding.
• Exceptional stewardship, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing teams and budgets.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating and stewarding relationships with major donors, trusts, foundations, corporate partners, and legacy supporters.
• Creating tailored proposals, partnership packages, and high-impact engagement strategies to secure major funding.
• Managing and guiding line reports, supporting recruitment, and fostering team development.
• Overseeing target reporting, managing CRM data (Microsoft Dynamics), and ensuring full compliance with GDPR and CIOF codes.

This charity supports the farming community across the United Kingdom with financial advice, mental health support, with their tailored services responding to the unique challenges of farming life.

For over 160 years, this charity has provided crucial practical, financial, and emotional support to farming people. Having delivered nearly £250 million in direct aid over the last 25 years and thousands of free counselling sessions.

In this pivotal senior position, you will lead and evolve the Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy, to secure long-term financial sustainability.

This hybrid role is 2 days per week in the Oxford HQ and 3 days working from home. Salary £46,500 plus car allowance.

What You'll Be Doing:
