Swansea University in Swansea (Singleton Campus) invites applications for a PhD position within a Leverhulme Trust-funded project led by Dr Christopher Baker. The successful candidate will join a vibrant Surface Dynamics Laboratory researching how spin echo techniques can reveal gravity effects on antimatter.

Open to UK fee eligible applicants; the scholarship covers tuition and includes an annual stipend (£21,805 for 2026/27). IELTS 6.0+ or recognised equivalent; ATAS clearance as required.

Qualifications
